Beck Szilvia :

I was born in 1985 in Hungary. Since 2015 I live in Luxembourg with my husband and our two children. I started to be interested and learn pyrography in 2018. In the meantime pyrography has become my passion because while I'm making my creations I feel free of everything, it's a relief for me when I'm working on my projects.

First I draw the contours on the worked surface freehand. Personally I work on wood but it is also possible on leather or paper and then I do the engraving with a pyrographic pen.

From time to time I complete my work by adding a bit of color in the form of acryl based colors or either with water based color pens. I always do my best to obtain wood with beautiful surfaces, which I rework by hand by smoothing the surfaces as much as possible. Once the project is finished I treat it with oil or lacquer.
